[ He follows Piper into the living room and deposits a second Coke in his lap, then hops over the arm of the couch to join him. ]

[Yeah now that he's been lingering there for this long Piper's starting to feel a little weird about it. But it's also kind of...nice? Shit.]

And you go the extra mile with these late night visits.

[There's no way in hell he's giving James a straight yes there.]

[ ... ah, crap. For a second he thinks about how stupidly lonely Piper must've been, after everything, when James was gone and Wally wasn't talking to him and the rest of the Rogues wanted nothing to do with the poor guy. For a second, he feels bad, like it's his fault somehow. Maybe part of it is, hell, who knows anymore?
